About Us

We are a group of youth and adults working together to provide opportunities for youth to serve their communities, primarily by teaching children’s classes and mentoring adolescents (junior youth).

We use the materials developed by the Ruhi Institute to train youth to become children’s class teachers and mentors for junior youth. In addition to materials that train older youth in the development of attitudes, qualities, and skills helpful in service to the younger generation, the Ruhi Institute has developed texts that junior youth can study to develop language and numeracy skills, powers of expression, and capacity to perform community service. Further, the Ruhi Institute has developed lessons for children focused on the teaching of virtues.

The Bahá’í Community of Canada sponsors each of these programs. To learn more about the Bahá’í Community of Canada visit their website!

Our programs are open to people of all backgrounds! While the themes in the programs are spiritual in nature, they reflect universal concepts that all can relate to!

“With an attitude characterized by a willingness to learn, we are striving to contribute to a process of community-building… Everyone willing to participate in this process is welcome. Its purpose, after all, is to help raise the capacity of more and more people to take charge of their development, so that all come to see themselves as active agents of their own and their communities’ progress.”
